WHAT KIND OF VOTING IS THIS? IT HAPPENED IN REVERS STATE



No wonder there has been series of protests in Rivers over the Saturday Election.  This photo has a clear date, time and you can see the new colour coded INEC ballot papers on an open field. According to the source, this is "open thumb printing inside police station in Gokana" in Rivers.

INEC said they had already received petition on the madness that took place in Rivers State in the name of election on Saturday and that there are many reports of "alleged malpractices". So, watch out!

At a press conference on Sunday, Umana Okon Umana, the Akwa Ibom governorship candidate of the APC, showed thousands of ballot papers that voters actually cast for his party in Ibesikpo local government area, but which were isolated and thrown away by rogue INEC staff in collusion with officials of the PDP in the state.

The discarded ballots, which were just for the Ibesikpo local government area alone, offered an indication of the depth of electoral malpractice that characterized the polls in the state on Saturday.

Onnoghen's CCT Trial: Lawyers Protest Say It's 'Dead on Arrival'

Some Lawyers according to Sahara reporters held a protest in Abuja today Monday to express dissatisfaction with the charges filed against the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Walter Onnoghen Onnoghen is standing trial over charges related to alleged fraudulent declaration of assets. He was scheduled for arraignment on Monday but wasn’t in court. The protest held outside the premises of the Code of Conduct Tribunal. According to the lawyers, “due process” is required before Onnoghen can be arraigned. They also noted that the charge against Onnoghen is “dead on arrival in view of the case of Nganjiwa v FRN (2017) LPELR 43391 wherein the Court of Appeal held that a judicial officer who has not been investigated by the National Judicial Council and sanctioned for misconduct cannot be arraigned in any criminal court in Nigeria”.
