Lagos Government shuts 24 religious outfits over noise Pollution

The Lagos State government yesterday said at least 24 religious outfits were shut in year 2014 for contravening the State guidelines on noise pollution. The state government further said the new Material Recovery Facility, would be established to capture the huge waste generated daily and boost the Waste-to-wealth programme in the state. Read more

Lagos saves N100.7bn to pay debts

Lagos State Government on Wednesday said it had fine-tuned its financial strategy to ensure that funds it borrowed were repaid. The government added that N100.73bn had been reserved in the state’s sinking fund reserve to pay its debts.  Read more

Dinosaur with wings like a BAT

A bizarre new dinosaur with bat-like wings has been discovered by a farmer in China and is now helping to shed new light on the evolution of flight. Palaeontologists in China say the impeccably preserved fossil belongs to a small dinosaur thought to have lived 160 million years ago. The strange-looking creature had small stiff feathers on its body and long finger-like bones extending from each wrist that were covered in a membrane like a bat’s wing.

The Footballers on the pitch above you will not believe they are cannot see and they are Playing Football.     One of them, Yvan Wouandji, who has represented his country at the Paralympics, picked up the ball in his own half and cruised past three defenders, before firing the shot into the back of the net. Moments after the impressive goal against Germany, the 21-year-old jumped into the arms of coaching staff, who were stood just outside the inflatable arena.

German tourist snaps hilarious selfies with friendly Zebra

In this Picture is Malte Woestefeld   who while enjoying himself snapped the picture at Zoo Safaripark in Germany. Malte Woestefeld snapped the hilarious photos as he drove through the wild animal game reserve and was approached by the friendly animal. The zebra stuck its head inside the car, leaving the 24-year-old with an astonished look on his face as he took a series of pictures.
